PROCLAMATION

As the officer accepting the candidate filings for the Van Buren R-1 Board of Education, I am issuing the following proclamation:

The county clerks in both Carter and Reynolds County, Missouri have provided to me the certified results of the April 3, 2018 Municipal Election held in their respective county.

There were two seats to be filled in the original election.   One seat for director has been won by Cammie Heumann, while two
candidates Michael Greene and Janet Keeney have each received an equal number of votes.

This is to proclaim there will be a special election held on May 1, 2018 to determine which candidate (one) is elected to the Board of
Education for a period of three years.

Marilyn Sanders
