Van Buren R-1, in collaboration with the Van Buren Chamber of Commerce and the support of JAG-Van Buren, successfully organized a Job Fair on November 8, 2023. This event showcased the vibrant job market within our community and surrounding area, and aimed to connect job seekers with excellent employment opportunities.
The Job Fair featured an impressive turnout of 22 businesses, ranging from local charity organizations to well-known nationwide stores. The diverse representation the broad spectrum of career options available within the area, providing attendees with an opportunity to explore and engage with a variety of industries.
Attendees had the chance to interact directly with representatives from each participating business, gaining insights into the available positions and potential career paths. This interactive approach allowed job seekers to make informed decisions about their future employment while giving businesses the opportunity to connect with potential candidates who best fit their needs.
