NOTICE OF BOARD FILING DATES
FOR THE VAN BUREN R-1 BOARD OF EDUCATION
Candidates may file for the Van Buren R-1 Board of Education BEGINNING Tuesday, December 9, 2025; from 8:00 a.m. to Noon & 1:00 p.m. through 4:00 p.m.
Additional filing dates:
December 10th -12th 9:00 a.m. to Noon and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m
December 15th – 19th 9:00 a.m. to Noon and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
December 22th and 23rd 9:00 a.m. to Noon
LAST DAY TO FILE: December 30, 2025, 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Candidates will file at the Van Buren Central Office, 906 Broadway Street, in the office of Heather Grant. In case of inclement weather, weekends, or school is cancelled for any other reason on a filing date, Central Office will also be closed and there will be NO FILING AVAILABLE.
Three (3) individuals will be elected to serve as members of the Van Buren R-1 Board of Education for a term of three (3) years each in the general Municipal Election on April 7, 2026.
