Happy Halloween from all of us at VBHS and VBJH!

Second Grade had a blast during their Halloween Party today! The fun started off with Halloween Bingo and later, everyone was able to put on their costumes and play themed games!

Elementary students were able to participate in our End of Quarter Celebration! Games included Broom Sweep, Cheese Puff Toss and Halloween Oreo Shake. We were very excited to see how much our students grew in the first quarter and look forward to seeing their continued growth during second quarter!

Preschool would like to say thank you to Carter County Courthouse, Riverways Manor, Carter County Library, Holt Sales, Roger Sisler, and our high school friends for letting us trick-or-treat!

Bulldogs and Lady Dawgs are STATE CHAMPIONSHIP BOUND! We will be having a pep rally and bus send off on Thursday, November 2nd. - Pep Rally @ 8:00 am - Bus Send Off @ 8:30 am Come line the streets and show your support! #BulldogsEveryday

Mrs. Smith's JH Science class dissecting frogs! Love some of those faces...

4th and 6th grade were able to paint pumpkins in the park after listening to an educational presentation at Twin Pines over owls! Great job!

6th grade students were able to make ball and stick models representing molecules while learning about molecule structure during science! Way to go!

10/28 District Cross Country Results: HS Boys Team got 1st Place and qualified for the state meet! HS Girls Team got 3rd Place and qualified for the state meet! Individual Results are posted below

10/18 JH / HS Race Results: HS Boys and HS Girls both took 1st place in the race! Conference Champs!

6th Grade earned an Ice Cream Celebration for earning 50 Paw Points! Awesome job!!!

Mrs. H's Third Grade made Candy Corn Towers today. They worked in groups to plan a design, build it and then tested their creation. Groups also measured the height of their towers and worked to review what they could have done differently. Their creativity was pretty awesome!

Preschool had a great time learning about water safety. Thanks, Officer Logan Monaghan for bringing your boat!
