Mrs. Smith's Jr. High Science completed a 6-week Food Literacy Program with Cheryl from the Van Buren Public Library. This was a grant-funded program where the students learned to follow recipes and cook easy, microwave food. The kids looked forward to this every week! Thank you Cheryl and the Van Buren Public Library!

Mrs. Smith’s HS Zoology class visited Montauk State Park. We met with the Naturalist who took us on a nature walk and identified birds, toured the Mill, and visited the fish hatchery. It was a beautiful day filled with nature. The students also learned that Montauk is where Current River begins!
Van Buren FFA participated in their first ever trap meet at Poplar Bluff Gun Club. Congratulations to Benjamin Hawkins who shot a team high 91/100. #bulldogseveryday
