Congratulations and welcome to Alan Snider and Dakota Townsley for being elected to the Van Buren Board of Education.
The Van Buren School District School Board provides critical leadership, perspective, and decision-making. Alan and Dakota join the following already seated board members: Tyson Zimmer, Curt Majors, Eric McSpadden, Don Ricker, and Mark Wood. The newly elected board members will be sworn in at the April School Board Meeting.
A special thank you goes to the other candidates for their willingness to commit their time, talent, and energy to run for the school board.
Finally, we would like to thank our departing BOE members, Becky Allen and Lisa Burke, for their years of service to the school board and the students and staff of Van Buren School District.
